So this year we did something a little bit different for the night of Halloween. Our neighborhood put together a hayride for the kids. And boy were there a lot of KIDS! I think the last head count I heard was 61. Of course it ended up that not all the kids were from our neighborhood, but they were welcome to hitch a ride anyway! ;-) The hayride stopped at each intersection of our neighborhood (which I think there are 4-5) and it took 2 hours to get through it all. If you are familiar with our neighborhood, you know that can't possibly be accurate, right? Wrong! If you saw us get all those kids on and off the trailer with their oh so precious costumes on, you would understand! It was crazy. By the end of the night both Reese & Mason were asking "Is this the last house yet????" in their most whiney voices. Note to self: next stop the trick-or-treating experience while it is still exciting!
